     Bob Hale was the first one who sent in photos from the yearly events in the

      Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake Iowa commemorating the last stage act of the

                three stars Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and The Big Bopper.

    I'm glad to be able to present these great photos to all fans around the globe.

Sie waren vor 51 Jahren im Surf Ballroom, ein historisches Foto. Ganz links Frankie Sardo, rechts hinten Tommy Allsup, frisch  verheiratet mit Nicole, Bob Hale, davor seine Frau Kathy, die ich beide persönlich kenne.

  Frankie Sardo war seit dem Tod der 3 Stars erstmals wieder im SURF.
