Ich habe bei meinem Freund John Mueller (deutschstämmig) eine CD bestellt, die mit Weihnachten zu tun hat, aber eigentlich im weitesten Sinne keine reine CD über Weihnachten ist. Verwirrung ? Nicht nötig !
Das, was ich da geliefert bekam, ist das Gegenteil von Standard - Weihnachten mit den bekannten Liedern. Das absolute Gegenteil.
Die Texte sind bekannt, die Musik ist anders interpretiert. WEIHNACHTEN kommt ganz anders rüber.
Das ist BUDDY, RITCHIE, BOPPER - WEIHNACHTEN, das ist ABSOLUT ANDERS, TOLL ! ! !
Und der Clou an der ganzen Sache ist :
Das kann man wirklich 365 Tage hören ! ! !
In December 2007 I ordered a new CD from my good buddy John Mueller.
He posted it on the 10th of December and it arrived on the 10th of
January ! SNAIL MAIL !
The first time I listened to this CD I did not believe what my ears heard:
This IS a CHRISTMAS CD, and it is NOT a Christmas CD.
It's a CD for 365 days a year !!
The interpretation, the sound, it's absolutely different to all the music
you listen to during the holidays.
Oh yeah, my friends, this is fun, real fun. I do recommend this CD as one of
the most outstanding items for Buddy fans and their collections.
Ich kann nur sagen: Das ist die mit Abstand "ANDERSTE" CD über Weihnachten, die mir je untergekommen ist. Man hört Buddy, Ritchie und den Bopper und das ist alles so vertraut, aber wirklich total anders, und wie.
Ich bin hin und weg, das heisst was für einen gestandenen Fan.
