Das Konzert war ausverkauft und ein Riesenerfolg. Man redete in Fankreisen noch lange davon und wünschte sich eine Wiederholung.

This sell-out concert was a big success. A lot of fans wished it would happen again.

Last year we presented a charity show in Liverpool on the date 50 years on

from Buddy Holly playing this venue (March 1958). The show was a great

success - and we are setting up a Buddy Holly Scholarship to the Liverpool

Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA - the Paul McCartney school).

                                  We are repeating the concert -

                     and creating an annual Buddy Holly weekend

                                to raise funds for this scholarship.

Eine bessere Idee konnte man als echter Buddy Fan nicht haben: Ein ausverkauftes Gedenkkonzert mit vielen Stars auf Wunsch der Fans wiederholen UND ein jährlich stattfindendes BUDDY HOLLY WOCHENENDE zu starten.
