Hello everyone,
My name is Joh Lang, originally from Europe and now living in New Zealand. I’ve been a Buddy Holly fan since my teens.
In 1959, Buddy Holly’s passing had a profound effect on me. When I was 18, I created a small Buddy Holly booklet titled “We’ll Always Remember,” using photos and information I received directly from Buddy’s parents, which I was allowed to use for fan club publications.
I’ve recently completed a tribute song called “Remember ’59 – The Day the Music Died.” The song is not monetised and is shared purely in remembrance of Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and J.P. “The Big Bopper” Richardson.
I used modern AI tools as a creative assistant to my music.

I belonged to JohnBeecher’s BHAS back in 50s,
I founded British Buddy Holly Society in 1981 and assisted BBC on productions for TV, and helped in preparing Buddy the BH Story stage show pre-production......
Proud to have helped Philip Norman with his biography....and met so many great people ....

Also many-many thanks for including me in your list of Tribute Songs, I am truly honoured. When Lockdown started last year I plucked up courage and posted my first video. My channel now has over 100.
