THIS YEAR`s TRIBUTE
(Thanx to Colin Davies and Roddy Jordan)
This is the longest-running tribute in the world! And it’s sold out every year.
About 65 songs are performed, covering all periods of Holly’s career (the Nashville and the
apartment tracks are often the most popular), and of course some Bopper and some Valens tracked.
Performed by the cream of the DC-area musicians
(DC, Virginia, and Maryland is the home of some great rockabilly performers).
JP McDermott, who started this event, now lives on the west coast, where he organizes a similar tribute.

One of the last stops before Buddy's death
On 19 May 2021, an email arrived from my good friend Roddy Jordan,
Australia's # 1 guru on Buddy Holly & The Crickets.
" An American mate of mine (Bill) sent these to me today.
He gave me permission to send these around so I thought you may like to see them. "
