BUDDY's MUSIC IN ANOTHER SONG
During my work on the ever-growing COVER SONGS list, I use very different sources, as you know.
A few days ago, I was pointed to a website that I had never heard of before;
whosampled.com
You're still learning and that's a good thing.
I made an interesting discovery on the site
in relation to the Buddy track "EVERYDAY".
There is a YouTube Video from 2009.
Pavement with "Silence Kit".
415,000 visitors up to date, wow!

They start with music, that is not the kind I like.
But, wait, at 1:07 you hear the melody of "Everyday".
A cover or simply "borrowed", I have no idea !
One of the last stops before Buddy's death
On 19 May 2021, an email arrived from my good friend Roddy Jordan,
Australia's # 1 guru on Buddy Holly & The Crickets.
" An American mate of mine (Bill) sent these to me today.
He gave me permission to send these around so I thought you may like to see them. "
Many thanks to Bill for sharing the following photos and to Roddy, the "postman".
