|We drove through Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana to Lubbock, |
Texas. Roundabout 1.400 miles. We really enjoyed this trip on the
way to our idol, the one and only Buddy Holly, who died in 1959 in
a fatal plane crash together with Ritchie Valens, J.P. Richardson,
known as the “Big Bopper” and Roger Peterson, the pilot.

| || The next day I went to Buddy’s grave and stood there in|
silence for a long time. It meant a lot to me to stand there.
